Is Arenas is easily accessible from all the main ports and airports of Sardinia.

• 110 km from Elmas International airport of Cagliari.
To get to Is Arenas quicker take the highway route SS131 for about 90 km and in 75 minutes by bypassing the cities you will be closer to your destination.
• 120 km from the Alghero-Fertillia airport.
To get to Is Arenas, there are two alternative roads, route SS 292, which offers a panoramic view of the shoreline passing through the city of Bosa or the highway SS131 heading to Cagliari. It generally takes 90 minutes by car.
• 170 km from the airport and the port of Olbia. Just take SS131 and you need 90-110 minutes to get to Is Arenas.
•It dists 20 km from Oristano's civilian airport "E. Campanelli".
The structure, managed by SOGEAOR spa, is equipped of one track
of approximately 1200 mt in asphalt, it is opened every day to traffic VFR,
it arranges, currently, of fuel 100LL.
The attendance at earth is guaranteed from certified society ENAC.
In 2009 the airport will be opened also to the instrumental and
nocturnal traffic and will be possible to resupply also of JETA1.

• 20 km from the small airport of Fenosu (Oristano) where a new tarmac runway of 1,300 m is under completion. To get to Is Arenas take SS131 direction to Sassari until Tramatza exit, and then the road which leads to Putzu Idu until you meet the crossroad SS 292, then turn right towards Cuglieri until you find the Is Arenas Golf course entrance.
• 22km from Torre Grande Marina and 30 km from the industrial port of Oristano. Take route SS292 for about 20-30 minutes.
• 12 km from the landing spot of Su Pallosu. The golf course is reachable within 10min by car taking SS 292, or 12 min by boat.

CLIMATE

The climate favors golfing. The presence of sea and pine forest creates and ideal microclimate for every season. The temperature during the winter rarely goes down from 10°-12° Celsius, and generally is stable between 10 and 16 degrees. During summer occasionally the temperature exceeds the 30°-33° degrees, due to constant sea breeze that cools the pine forest and keeps the temperature low during night and day. Therefore golfing is possible even during the hottest days of July and August. The average rainfall is 550-600 mm.
